About The Brand:
Matt Tilker founded the company more than 25 years ago while on a trip to Europe to study alternative medicine. During a visit to Provence, he was introduced to several soap makers renown in the region. He discovered a demand for high quality soap upon returning to his home in San Diego and founded Mistral with a $1,500 loan from his grandparents.
